Castles
Castles in Ireland generally fall into two categories: those
that are inhabited, and those that are ruins, and which are
generally historic tourism landmarks. Below is a sample of
projects, of both categories, in which Stronghold Preservation have
worked on.
Castles, especially those of tourist interest, tend to pose
difficult access arrangements, both for plant and personnel in
order to carry out remedial works. Stronghold Preservation,
therefore, have their own dedicated rope access team, including
surveyors, to mitigate for these circumstances.
