Rope Access
Many buildings and structures undergoing
construction work are not necessarily accessible by traditional
means (scaffolding or cherry pickers), due to the location or
height of the building. Due to this, we at Stronghold
Preservation have our own IRATA trained rope access team that are
also trained to carry out our range of services.
Stronghold Preservation have been instrumental in carrying out
repairs in a number of high profile buildings by rope access; Dunluce Castle, Co.
Antrim, and Claridges Hotel in
London.
Obviously when working on the ropes, health and safety is
paramount; especially when combined with using machinery. For
this reason, our technicians have to be highly trained in each
system, as well as proficient 'on the ropes'.
We also have IRATA trained surveyors, so that, if need be, a
surveyor can access the building to assess problems first hand.
