St Malachys Wall, Bangor, Co. Down

This historic listed stone wall was leaning and needed to be stabilised; to restore it and to prevent further movement. Stronghold Preservation installed Cintec anchors to stabilise the wall prior to McCallan Bros jacking the leaning part of the wall into a more vertical position. After the wall was jacked into position, Stronghold Preservation then installed 7m vertical Cintec anchors and 5m Duckbill ground anchors to help provide stability to the wall.
